Bananas grilling
I love bananas and I love icecream, and here's a really simple way to use the Egg to make a beautiful marriage of the two.
I actually did this for the first time the other night when the Egg was in "self-clean" mode, cruising at about 800 degrees with glowing lava coals leftover from a cook of chicken breasts. I sliced the bananas in half, left them in the peel, and sprinkled with turbinado sugar and cinnamon. Cooked on elevated grid at 800 degrees or so for roughly 5 - 8 minutes, or until the bananas are very soft all the way through.

Yum
If they're done just right, the bananas will just fall out of the peels. I scrape them out and chop them up, almost making like a warm compote. Then, just spoon over a bowl of Blue Bell homemade vanilla, add a final sprinkle of cinnamon, and prepare to experience heaven.
