Pineapple

After one flip

Grilled pineapple is a quick and easy way to turn ordinary pineapple into a tasty dessert. Buy a pineapple that is ripe (smells very fruity), slice into 1" thick discs, core the centers if you want to (I was too lazy on these), then throw on a 400 - 500 F fire for about 5 - 8 minutes a side. Some people like to dip the discs in condensed milk and coat with sugar before grilling, but I think that the warm, grilled fruit is sweet enough by itself. Chop up and throw in a bowl with some homemade vanilla bean icecream. Yum.
